This was a custom build for a customer who wanted a jazz-minded bass drum to compliment the snare he bought previously. It’s an 18″x18″ hickory stave shell with maple ply hoops, chrome hardware, Evans heads, and an overwhelming presence and personality! This thing pounds for being an 18″ diameter! Maybe one of the best parts? There’s not even a need for muffling so you can run it wide open. 🙂
